From Nov. 05 to Nov. 06, GE Energy Service Distributor Conference (2008) was held at Shanghai GE China Technology Park (CTP). Participants included Mrs. Diane Van, Global Supervisor of GE Energy Servicing Channel Management, Mr. Paul Sun, Supervisor of GE Energy Asian-Pacific Area, Mr. Xu Xin, General Manager of GE Energy Service in China Area, etc. Mr. Chen Shenghong, Managing Director of Shenzhen Nanguang Power Co., Ltd., was also invited to the conference.

 

Firstly Mr. Paul Sun expressed welcome to all the guests present, confirmed the significant performance well done by the distributors of GE Energy Service in Chinese mainland, and hoped for further understanding and recognition of corporate ideology, which could promote better cooperation and win-win strategy in the future. Then, Mr. Xu Xin introduced the energy service businesses in the Chinese mainland in details, and with the help of various charts & graphs, precisely and factually, he emphasized the marketing situation of several sub-branches over the past few years. Of course Mr. Xu also mentioned the severe economic situation and challenges faced by energy economies. However, believing in the coincidence of challenge and chance, Mr. Xu expected to endeavor with all the distributors for creating more brilliant causes.

 

Mrs. Diane Van, who was from UK and has been working in Czech Republic for many years, introduced a full overview on GE Global Channels, helping us to have better understanding on GE organizational structures and management system, and promoting to establish confidence on better communications with GE in the future. Later, Mr. Qin Qiang, Manager of GE Advanced Control Sub-division, made a theme speech on the core culture of GE, namely, Faith, which taught us a new concept on Faith the Root, an ideology held by the multinational corporations for a long term. It is the same as what we Chinese people say: All gentlemen love money, but they earn money while following moral principles.

 

On the evening of Nov. 05, all the present were invited to a banquet sponsored by GE. At the dinner, GE heads awarded excellent distributors with Award Cups. Thanks to the successful cooperation with GE over the past decade, Shenzhen Nanguang Power Co., Ltd. was awarded ¡°The Dedication Award for Long-term Cooperation¡±. It¡¯s hard to forget that during awarding Mr. Xu Xin specially mentioned for several times Nanguang Power the old and insistent friend of GE through hard and happy times, and he also mentioned only by long-term cooperation can spirit and practices make all distributors and GE win honors mutually. His speech resonated fevered applause among the distributors present.

 

We¡¯re looking forward to endeavoring with such an excellent company as GE to offer better services to the Chinese energy market.
