Invested by Concord (Group) Co., Ltd., Suzhou Industrial Park Municipal and Public Development Group Co., Ltd., Suzhou Suxin Assets & Investment Co., Ltd., and Sino-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Ventures Co., Ltd., Lantian Natural Gas Thermal Power Co., Ltd. is an environment-friendly power enterprise mainly supplying heat and power, and the company is located in Suzhou Sino-Singapore Industrial Park, east to Jinji Lake and north to Wusong River, occupying 85,000 square meters of area. Recently the company has built up two sets of 9E GT combined cycle power-generation units fueled by natural gas and supplying heat and power in combination. As a key construction plan in Suzhou, the first phase of the project was invested over one billion RMB, and with two units of 9E gas turbines made by GE, the total installed capacity is 360 MW. Shenzhen Nanguang Power Co., Ltd. contracted and took on installation for two sets of 9E GT power-generation units.

Our company attached much importance to the project. We made sufficient preparation before formally kicking off the project: Before the project, we had digested related technical files from GE and their institutes, mobilized keen-witted and competent installation team, made scrupulous construction plan and project schedule, leveled base embedded boards, positioned exhaust chamber, and installed coupling between turbine and power-generator.

The installation for GT power-generator units was formally onMay 8. At the construction site there were several general engineers commanding the process while a dozen of senior engineers, engineers, and dozens of senior welders, locksmiths, senior technicians specialized in piping and cold-process were working cooperatively. During the construction our leaders visited the site to guide and allocate work.

NTC, our parent company, also attached great importance to the project. On May 28, 2005, a team led by Mr. Shen Qun, the NTC General Manager specially visited the frontline of the project to bring about the warm regards, guide and supervise our work, and make important comment as well, which invigorated our morale. With support and cooperation from Suzhou Lantian Power Co., Jiangsu No. 1 Power Construction Corporation and other units, all our staff mobilized for the project were confident in conquering difficulties, take care of safety issues, safeguard the quality and ensure completion of the project in the due time.
