The Visits Paid by General Manager of Nanguang Power Co., Ltd. to the machining Workshop of 300 MW Steam Turbine Generator Units in Nanjing Turbine & Electric Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd

Mr. Chen Shenghong, the general manager of Nangang power Co., Ltd, visits the machining workshop300 MW Steam Turbine Generator Units in NTC, after the completion of attending NTC¡¯s meeting which is about management work on July, 6th, 2008.
 
Under the efforts of NTC¡¯s staff, the first 350 MW air-cooled steam turbine generator unit achieved its trial run in Mid May, 2008. This generator has the biggest power parameter at the present in China, which is researched and developed  by NTC. Through several days¡¯ boot-strap test, the various data of the generator has reached the design requirement not only in the aspect of liberation, temperature rising, short circuit characteristics and no-load characteristics, but also in the aspect of the check test of general machine. It fills the blank of technology in China and symbolizes that NTC goes up to a higher stage. At present, the turbine generator has entered into a test process of declaring independent intellectual property
 

From the production to the commissioning, the 350 MW air-cooled turbo-generator experiences ten months and completes at the first time successfully. This generator is much bigger and heavier than 150 MW air-cooled turbo-generator in the aspect of volume and weight. NTC has experience in manufacturing 150 MW air-cooled turbo-generator, but there are many unexpected difficulties which are due to over-length and over-weight of the generator in the process of manufacturing 350 MW air-cooled turbo-generator. The staff have the spirit of fearlessness, unity, struggle and independent innovation. They solve technical difficulties of rotor production, stator laminating stator winding installation, stator dipped lacquer and eliminate the problem which is in the assembly process of rotor assembly, bearing chock, exciter and dragging engine. Due to their strict check and careful operation, they succeed in commissioning. And then they place a full stop to the manufacture of 350 MW air-cooled turbo-generator.
