The catastrophic earthquake of 8 degrees at Ricky scale broke out at Wenchuan County,Si chuan Province, which resulted in grave loss in both lives and properties. The unprecedented catastrophe tested the spirit of the Chinese nation once again. The natural disasters are ruthless while the people are amicable. The situation in stricken areas got all the Chinese people involved. The whole country took actions to save the people who were still buried in ruins.
Confronted with natural disasters, Nanguang Power had made some practical efforts to help the people in disaster area. The action begun from donation. The managerial staff of the company took the lead to donate money. Then, employees were active in subscribing liberally. Even the cleaners tried their best to offer help by means of donation within their limits. The aggregation amounted to 100,000 RMB yuan.Many employees had donated money for several times in the communities and construction sites. Some of them had donated blood and clothes as well.
Jiangyou Power Station in Sichuan Province is situated close too Mianyang City which had suffered great loss during the process of the severe earthquake. Two sets of steam turbine generators of the power station were contracted and installed by Nanguang Power in 2001. After the earthquake broke out, Nanguang Power contacted Jiangyou Power Station in due time . Meanwhile, Nanguang Power promised to offer help for free and prepared to dispatch experts and technical workers to overhaul generators to assure that the power station works safely.
We, compatriots, should join hands to overcome difficulties. By virtues, the Chinese nation showed its fortitude to the world.As long as we have love, belief, the people from the disaster areas were bound to get rid of difficulties. As long as all the Chinese people support them spiritually, anything can be conquered. All the misfortunes will elapse. The future of Sichuan will be brighter.
